Explore Silver Crest Cross-Country Ski Trails

Welcome to Silver Crest Trails, where winter adventure meets wide-open Montana beauty—and it’s free and open to the public. Glide through quiet forests, explore scenic mountain routes, and take a break in cozy warming huts at Kings Hill Winter Recreation Area, tucked into the stunning Little Belt Mountains near Neihart.

With 10+ miles of groomed Nordic ski trails and 2 miles of snowshoe routes, Silver Crest offers something for everyone. Trails are maintained for both classic and skate skiing, welcoming beginners and seasoned adventurers alike, ensuring a smooth, scenic experience all winter long.
